Following Rick and Jamie’s retirement, ownership has passed to the next generation, with Sean Mead leading the company and Jemma Mead continuing the family’s proud tradition in the trade. While the leadership has evolved, the values, expertise, and commitment established by Rick and Jamie remain the foundation of everything we do.

Rick Mead

Alongside his brother Jamie, Rick co-founded The Brothers Mead and helped build the business into
one of Wellington’s trusted names in masonry. As a Master Mason and licenced qualified bricklayer,
Rick’s commitment to quality workmanship, professionalism, and family values formed the
foundation of the company from day one. Now enjoying a well-earned retirement, Rick remains a
respected part of the Brothers Mead story, with the next generation proudly carrying forward the
standards and reputation he helped establish.
Jamie Mead

Jamie co-founded The Brothers Mead with his brother Rick and played a pivotal role in building the
company and the reputation it enjoys today. Through decades of dedication, craftsmanship, and
commitment to clients, he helped create the values that continue to guide the business. Following
his retirement, Jamie is proud to see the family legacy continue through the next generation,
knowing the principles he helped establish remain at the heart of everything The Brothers Mead

As Owner of The Brothers Mead, Sean is proud to continue the family legacy established by his

Sean is committed to preserving the values that made The Brothers Mead what it is today while
leading the company into its next chapter.
Jemma Mead

Following in the footsteps of her father Jamie and uncle Rick, Jemma is proud to be part of the Mead
family legacy. As a licenced qualified bricklayer, she is committed to the same high standards of
workmanship, professionalism, and customer service that have defined the family business for
decades. Jemma brings enthusiasm, skill, and dedication to every project, helping ensure the
values established by the founders continue for years to come.
